About this policy

This policy describes Mighty Markdown for macOS, developed by Chrominsky (Bartosz Chrominski), and this product website.

The Mac app

Mighty Markdown reads and edits documents you choose to open. The app does not send document contents or usage data to the developer or to third-party services. It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, or a developer-operated server, and it does not require an account.

The app uses macOS App Sandbox. Access to documents is granted through the system file picker or other native document-opening actions. App preferences, such as fonts and text size, are stored locally on your Mac.

Where your files live

Your documents are saved in locations you choose. If you choose a folder managed by iCloud Drive or another synchronization provider, that provider handles synchronization under its own privacy terms. Mighty Markdown does not operate that service.

You control your documents through the macOS file system. Deleting the app does not automatically delete documents you saved elsewhere.

This website

This is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not add analytics, advertising, cookies, contact forms, or third-party font services; fonts and images are served from this site. GitHub may process technical information, including IP addresses, to provide and secure its hosting service. See the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Support requests

If you contact us through GitHub Issues, we can see the information you submit. GitHub processes that information under its own policies. Issues are public; do not post private documents or sensitive personal information.

For support and privacy questions, use the support issue form.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date.
